“I started writing [to] Don while he was away. Then when he returned to New York, he built me a little room of my own in the loft, and told me I could stay. And 20 minutes later we got married! No, actually, it was two months later. It just seemed right. A lot of men had asked me to marry them, but it had never really seemed right before.”

So we spend a lot of time together and we can go on vacations. He’s very happy about that.”
